“If religious books are not widely circulated among the masses in this country, I do not know what is going to become of us as a nation. If truth be not diffused, error well be: If God and His Word are not known and received, the devil and his works will gain the ascendancy; If the evangelical volume does not reach every hamlet, the pages of a corrupt and licentious literature will; If the power of the Gospel is not felt throughout the length and breadth of the land, anarchy and misrule, degradation and misery, corruption and darkness will reign without mitigation or end.”
Senator Daniel Webster
Hi, Dr. Stebbins,
I’ve been mulling over your comment about publishers being reluctant to take on your book because of its length. I use a structural editor who is very good. If you wanted her to take a look at it, she could probably make suggestions to cut a few pages off, get it down to 375. That might be enough to make a difference to publishers. Just a thought. Let me know if you are interested.
I hope you have a blessed Christmas. I have finished the first draft of “The City” but lots of editing to do. I’ll keep you posted:)

Thanks, Lori. I appreciate your thoughtfulness. It’s difficult to reduce the length of the book, because the vision includes presenting a holistic Biblical worldview. However, I have demonstrated to publishers how it could be published as two books.
Another approach is that one of the nationally known endorsers is Dr. Judith Reisman. She has invited me to coauthor a book with her. I’m working on it now. It will involve combining material from her most recent book with material from my book. Here is her endorsement and credentials:
“An English colleague just wrote me: ‘Dr. Kinsey’s “scientific” data drove the sexual revolution which drove a social revolution which, in turn, has been driving a political revolution. The changes in sexual mores are transforming the nature of society; which, in turn, determines the type of politicians and government ruling us.’ Dr. Stebbins exposes truth. The proof of a philosophy is in the fruit born by its tree. The fruit of the tree of the sexual revolution is not only factually, objectively rotten but toxic unto the fourth generation. If we are to find our way back it must be through an informed understanding of how we got here, and a prayerful battle for the future of our nation.”
